My name is Dale Watkins, and when I’m not at my real job, spending time with my (growing) family, or resting my eyelids, I read about website design.

I read blogs and articles as well as books and tutorials about design, development and other aspects of website design.

I created this website not only to chronicle what I’ve learned and read, but as a way to provide an effective resource and community for other designers and developers.

why dalewatkins.com?

Because I’m more of a developer/code guy and it’s the best I could come up with.

It works though, I guess.

what can you expect from this site?

You can expect for me to touch on a wide variety of topics, hinging not only on the articles I write, but other blogs as well. I do not proclaim to be a master of all things webdesign, but between me and everyone else, I think we can manage.

did I design this site myself?

Actually, yes. The current design was created as my first Wordpress enabled theme. I definitely learned alot along the way and plan on sharing some of the tips I encountered along the way.
